Practicing the Yoga of Creativity or Creative Tantra. Shunyata/Adriana Attento. info@creationmeditation.com (Spiritual Teacher)
The word yoga is derived from the Sanskrit root yuj, which means "to yoke" or "to unite". Essentially, yoga means to join human and divine. Like yoga, creativity is a union of personal and transpersonal aspects of oneself. To bring something out of the realm of what does not exist into the realm of what does exist requires a union of opposites. Known and unknown, fullness and nothingness, conscious and unconscious, male and female, human and divine must become one in order to produce the creative third. In fact, any method of making art - writing, dancing, composing music, painting, sculpting, or story-telling- is a form of yoga too.
Practicing the yoga of creativity, or Creative Tantra, involves turning attention inward, becoming the non-judgmental witness, and giving continued expression to whatever arises from within. Often when Westernets hear or read Tantra, they think of sexuality. Sex can be a means to practice Tantra, though theyogic practice itself is not so much concerned with sexual pleasure as it is with the creative/sexual life force. The word Tantra comes from the two Sanskrit words tanoti, which means expansion, and trayati, which means liberation. Tantra yoga attempts to expand awareness to include all opposing aspects of oneself, such as male and female, dark and light, pleasurable and painful, thereby awakening to the wholeness of the universe. Just as in creativity where something emerges from nothing, all worlds of form are the creative expression of Formless Awareness.
Creative Tantra is a spiritual practice of cultivating awareness. It is a practice of observing life as it is, without changing it, thus not identifying with inner experiences. It is a practice of studying the microcosm (your inner world) in order to realize the macrocosm (the universe), and recognizing who and what you are. It is a practice of inquiry, leading to the source of the little self and finding that it dissolves into nothing. Meditating on CREATION is Cultivating and Realizing Eternal Awareness Through Imagination, Observation, and allowing Nature. By teaching Creative Tantra, Shunyata hopes to liberate the creative/sexual energy from being repressed to being revered.
Consciousness As The First And The Last Revolution. Maribel Barreto. maribelbarreto@terra.com.br> This research aims to identify the consciousness as an instrument of transcendence, extending beyond the limits of the ego, rationality and materiality. It leads to a dimension of non-casualty, where the actions are made of intuition, where there is no cause and effect. It is the potential energy of the human being, which lives in a state of latency, waiting for a moment to be awakened, and that was built and designed for it including the self-integration, as well as the enlightenment, the release of his main and irreversible revolution, which is based on the self-knowledge. In this sense, in order to conquer the world we must do so from ourselves; to do this, we need to awake, build and develop our conscience in increasingly degree is important; because only that can generate a revolution that produces integration and brings up the new. We also provide the study of humans and their dimensions of conscious, unconscious and superconscious, dimensions which need to be entirely understood, in support of the brief, conscious, and voluntary evolution of mankind, as well as to understand consciousness as an instrument of maximum priority nowadays viewing a new stage of humanity, without so much confusion, mismatch and discomfort, at individual and collective levels. We conducted a theoretical research of qualitative nature so as to understand that the only essential revolution is the inner one, of the deepest and most essential human dimension. As result of this research we could feature that neither you can create a new humanity without creating a new human being; nor create a new human being while our intelligence is not luminous, to extend of developing a new action from based on consciousness, therefore, what matters is the first and last revolution.
Comparing the Buddhist concept of emptiness with social psychological theories of consciousness. Brian Betz, Ph.D. bbetz@kent.edu
In Buddhism the term emptiness refers to the idea that the nature of reality is such that all phenomena are interrelated; there is no such thing as a separate entity because everything is endlessly interwoven together (Nhat Hanh, 1993). Emptiness is often misunderstood to be nothingness, but as Campbell (1991) stated to be empty means to be full of everything else. Recently there have been various comparisons made between Buddhism and other disciplines (e.g., Shen & Midgley, 2007). In this presentation, key Buddhist's concepts will be compared with how social psychologists view the nature of consciousness and self. In social psychology behavior is thought to be a product of the social context and the nature of self to be therefore intertwined with interactions with other people. Perhaps no better example of this is Watkins (1999) notion of invisible guests. In short, Watkins believes that conscious experience can, in part, be seen as a social environment inhabited by the internalized thoughts, feelings, and general behavior patterns of other people. For example, in making a life decision it is not hard to think of an imagined dialogue one might have with a close friend or relative. For Watkins we find a multiplicity of characters within consciousness and these invisible guests are in dialogue with one another. This shares some similarity with the Buddhists' concept of emptiness as our mind can be viewed as a map of interrelatedness with others. Included in the presentation will be a discussion of an Artistic Virtual Environment of "consciousness inhabited by invisible guests" created by the author. This AVE is designed to prompt the viewer to question how his or her consciousness is inhabited by imaginal others.
Relationality: The Principle within Everything. Rev. Julia Bystrova. julfire@yahoo.com
The 'big picture' questions about the nature of the world and reality have been engaging humans throughout history. The disciplines of science, philosophy, and the various religious perspectives, have attempted to explain what the universe is and our place in it. However, because each of these models has their angles and filters, they can lack valuable insight from outside their scope. How can we know what's true beyond respective thought systems?
The state of the world today, both in its perils and advances, is calling for an understanding that can weave together the disparate parts of the human experience. We need to know the ground on which we stand and that which connects us all; the whole that includes, but is beyond the individual "I". We need a bigger story than any one perspective can give us. But we need to build this story with what we can confidently know to be true.
By definition, a 'principle within everything' must be at work in all the aspects of life and the cosmos; it must be able to include an understanding of force, matter, motion, space, time, evolution, life, consciousness, and more. Further, we can assume that the best picture of the "whole reality" must take into account not only the different areas of knowledge, but also the subjective and nonrational ways of knowing, that go beyond what can be adequately, or analytically, described. The scope of this agenda is too large to be grasped conclusively; there will always be a fundamental mystery. Building on the works of many great thinkers, I construct an inclusive, holistic, transdisciplinary model that offers its case for a likely direction of what's 'true'. A template for this model, and a guided experience of it, is what I intend to offer in my description of "Relationality".
An inside nondual view of proprioceptive seeing/notseeing during the recovery from a retinal vein thrombosis, Janella Fleming-Carruthers. jfbc@telus.net
In ordinary situations the eye sees the outer world exteroceptively, not itself, except in mirror images from the outside. Sometimes the situation changes. Six 11"xl4" and four I4"x 17" charcoal and colour pastels sketched during the healing of a left central retinal vein thrombosis will be posted. They depict the eye seeing itself from the inside during the process of return of colour vision and geometric form from semi-blindness to nearly normal vision, from pixils to continuity.
These images are experienced from the inside, proprioceptively, and hence nondually, with both vision, lack of vision, distortion of vision, and cognitive and emotional reactions mixed together in a whole. In this the invisible process of seeing becomes visible, and thus articulates its depths as flesh (Merleau-Ponty).
Consciousness Through Trie Looking Glass, Ingrid Fredriksson. ingruif@telia.com
I had a dream to publish a book about our consciousness, quantum mechanics, string theory, dimensions, space and time, non-local space, the hologram and what happens with our consciousness when we die.
Famous scientists and authors have take part in the creation of the book and write a chapter each. Together they give a new picture of the consciousness and nonduality.
A new paradigm of science based on quantum physics and the primacy of consciousness has been in the offering for a couple of decades now. Where should this particular paradigm shift lead us for the society at large, in particular, in the fields of economics where the need for change is urgent? Arnit Goswami asks and gives the answer.
For some time back, the science argues for the universe as a whole being a kind of gigantic hologram, a mirroring of another reality, in which neither time nor space exists – the world is a detailed illusion. Edgar Mitchell speaks of the Soul as a hologram and our interconnectedness with the Universe.
Karl Pribram, neurophysiologist at Stanford University, was seeking something other than the explanation provided by the standard models to solve neurophysiological puzzles. "Neither Dennis Gabor, David Bohm nor I think (thought) of the Universe as a hologram. The holographic arrangement is an enfolded (implicate) background for the space- time universe we navigating. It is a potential reality rather than the experienced reality that we navigate", says Karl Pribram. If we, like Emanuel Swedenborg (1688-1772) a scientist and one of the universal geniuses, know what happens with our consciousness when we die, it would spare us much suffering. The solution is much closer now and with a scientifically evidence.
Kundalini: The Subtle Biology of Spiritual Awakening. Bonnie Greenwell. kundinfo@mind$pring.com (Shanti River Institute)
Kundalini energy arises to support the remembering of our true nature (in the words of Buddhism) or the realization of the true Self (in the words of Hinduism). We could also say it is the cosmic biology activating to bring us into the consciousness of our source. With its eruption our body/mind begins to deconstruct itself, and new perceptions become available. It is a movement from the dualistic split into the non-dual experience.
Eastern philosophies have used techniques for thousands of years to activate this primal energy because it can improve vitality, strength and perception, bring one into transcendent states, open a person to mystical and metaphysical phenomena, and ultimately offer the potential for liberation from the bondage of personal identity. Most people who experience a profound spiritual awakening will find it accompanied by the energies of kundalini, whether or not they do specific practices to stimulate them. The vibratory and energetic response can be mild, moderate or overwhelming, depending on many conditions.
This activation occurs because consciousness flows within this subtle cosmic energy, and when consciousness changes a clearing process begins in our energy fields to free us from past patterns and make the body/mind more available to living in the present moment. The more rigidly we hold to our points of view and attachments the more difficult this process becomes.
Many people have kundalini awakenings without the support of a spiritual tradition and many have awakenings doing practices without a teacher who really understands the process triggered by these energies. These have primarily been the people I have interviewed and supported over the years.
Multidimensional Entrainment of the Autonomic Nervous System, Dr. Reginald Humphreys. drrbh@compuserve.com and Kathleen Eagan-Detrez
The doctrine of intentional manipulation of the autonomic nervous system is a domain which is on the verge of evolving from a weak science with limited clinical applications into the pre-eminent theoretical orientation for mind-body medicine practitioners. Of the various methods available for modifying the ANS, the method of entrain-ment holds the greatest promise for taking what is known about autonomic functioning and turning this knowledge into a multipurpose intervention approach.
So far, intervention strategies within mind-body medicine have been focused on cultivation of activity within the parasympathetic branch of the ANS. While these processes involve patasympathetic entrainment, it is often overlooked that the sympathetic branch is simultaneously held in suspense at a limited level of activation. This dual entrainment of the sympathetic and parasympathetic can be reversed in the direction of sympathetic dominance, in which the parasympathetic is concurrently held in suspense.
Trie positing of separable levels or channels of autonomic functioning provides an arena for the reiteration of this sympathetic-parasympathetic dynamism. Eight channels of autonomic functioning are described, residing within five quantum dimensions. Each autonomic level constitutes a signal channel which is capable of becoming entrained. Multiple channels may exhibit entrainment simultaneously. Either sympathetic or parasympathetic activation (or reduction) may be fostered within any level, using specific hypnotic suggestions. Integration of the concept of channels of autonomic functioning allows for the precise planning and execution of specific hypnotic suggestions for phenomena within each channel.
Always On, Always One or Oneness 3.0 The philosophy, psychology and spirituality of collaboration in the wikified world, Nick Jankel. nick@wecreate.cc" (Founder, wecreate)
In the long history of humankind (and animal kind, too) those who learned to collaborate and improvise most effectively have prevailed. – Charles Darwin Historians and archaeologists tell us that there are absolutely no precedents for the emerging 'collaborative' stage of our evolution. As our numbers have multiplied exponentially, so too have our needs, desires and demands. Fortunately, as our post-industrial ills have proliferated, so too have the number and variety of electrifying and electric opportunities for us to work together to heal them. In fact, the web might well be natures way of healing the alienation that technology itself created. However our brains have evolved to function well in small tribes not the teaming masses; and we are schooled to be competitive and individualistic by Western culture. Most of us are profoundly ill-equipped psychologically to collaborate - yet the experience of it, enabled and encouraged by the rise of the 'twitterverse', is I believe the most rapid, secular and contemporary way to salve all our existential suffering with the balm of interdependent being, no matter whether we are 'spiritual1 or not. Collaboration is a life philosophy that the businessman and politician alike can harness to achieve a sense of inter-subjective peace.
I will look at 'open heart' projects healing the war-torn streets of modern Africa; online video games experimenting with trust-building between strangers; tribal gift economies that discourage fracture; the very latest neuro-scientific research on how our brain is wired to co-operate; and tools that the ancient Greeks employed to make their democracies work. And I will show how non-dual practice can help us overcome our entrained selfishness so that we can harnesses the unique web 2.0 and web 3.0 opportunities for collective creativity and peace.
Mental Imagery, Mandalas, and Nonduality as Adaptive Healing Mechanisms. GailKeUy. gailk@ualberta.ca (University of Alberta, Edm CAN)
This study compares experiences of nonduality accompanied by visions, between shamans and trauma victims. Nonduality refers to the experience of "wholeness", the inseparability of self and an all-encompassing "Other". Traumatic events, ranging from severe pain to loss, can be unimaginable, ineffable events. Trauma occurs through sensory deprivation or overload that triggers a reorganization of neurological processes. This can result in the formation of cognitive structures that enable individuals to turn inward, to enter states of consciousness that are receptive to nonduality and meaningful visions. This aids in healing as it helps them make sense of the unimaginable (Leifich 2002). Similarly, shamans experience nonduality accompanied by fundamentally the same visions, by inducing sensory deprivation and hyper-stimulation. This enables the shaman to apprehend esoteric healing wisdom.
Visions of mandalas often accompany nonduality (Peat 1988; Cornell 2006:xvii,l45). The pairing of visions and nonduality is evident in Navaho sand paintings (Jung), medicine wheels, and Carl Jung's healing methodology. In paralleling nonduality, the mandala embodies concepts of balanced and unifying energies. These energy dynamics involve stasis, or balance in flux - what physics calls "entropy". In traditional cultures, these energy dynamics assure good health. Nonduality and mandalas are complementary healing mechanisms that unify cognitive and sensory processes.
Thought and sensation are reciprocally connected at the thalamocortical system. Among the four known neuronal organization patterns of the thalamocortical system, is one called "entropy". This pattern is not unlike a mandala (see Edelman, et al 2004). The thalamocortical system translates the ineffable into "preverbal" language (Balduzzi and Tononi 2009:23). It is known to produce "release hallucinations" (Manford and Andermann 1998). The mandala is among this class of imagery.
In summation, traumatic events can alter consciousness and cognitive processes that enable the merging of thought, feeling, perception, and meaningfulness. This research has implications fot post-trauma healing.
Aspects of Witnessability as the Universal Currency of Barter Presented in a Template Model for the Rehabilitation of Witness Perspective. Marvin Kirsh. kirsh215200Q@yahoo.com (California State University Los Angeles)
The production of sound by the machinery of change is a viral element in the problems of civilization. A silent relation that is unmoved, as it is unexposed to the power of the discourse of change and a silent logic of volumetric processes, together illustrated to companion empirical nature are employed for the elaboration of historical conceptual paradox involving mind and matter. Mind, conceived as an enduring state of the becoming of energy into a state of matter, and matter as the constandy becoming environment, are tested with criteria of witnessabilhy for consistency to capture an acceptably reasoned description, from a modern perspective, of emergence. A self-generating friction at the conceptual botder of the sociological and the natural as the recurring source of the problems of civilization, is discussed. The philosophies of logical positivism and post modernism referenced from the elaborated philosophy are determined to reflect a need for a representation of nature that is independent of temporal and physical parameters of perspective. Diffusion, the prominent generating agent of evidences in all aspects of research in human evolution, is proposed to be the major causative agent in human evolution: explanation for mechanical interptetations of nature in human industries, in views of the self and nature is suggested to be an innately acquired propensity resulting from an exchange of normal olfaction abilities for acquired cognitive abilities in the course of evolution. Processes are discussed within the framework of first witness petspective and a visually based, atemporal mathematical-physical model of space is elaborated.
Cybernetics-based Stages/Levels of Life and Consciousness: Towards a Scientific Spirituality. Walter Matreyek. waltmatr@pacbell.net (MPSL Performance Consulting)
In a cybernetics-based timeline of the evolution of the universe, life, and consciousness, we can observe a punctuated continuity of six cybernetics-based Stages/Levels: SLO to SL5- In brief overview, the first three Stages/ Levels- the SLO universe into SL1 into SL2 early life and consciousness, are characterized by initial physical and biological unities, followed by cumulative cosmological and genetic/somatic diversity and complexity. The second three, SL3 to SL5, involve thee successively emerging orders of metacognition, which eventually culminate in a unity of universe, life, and consciousness. SL3 Self-Awareness constitutes a turning point. On the one hand, SL3 begins with an explosion of memetic diversity and complexity. But with a concomitant emergence of a first order of transcendently inclusive metacognition, we also find capabilities for basic reflection/ preflection and monitoring. These in turn enable specific experience and performance-directed change/improvement, carried on by multiple task-, situation- and role-based Selves, operating within the graduallyenlarging spatial, temporal, and social Contexts of society /world, history, and humanity. In a currently-emerging SL4, Self-Control, we find a second order of Metacognition. A now "core" Self becomes able to Reflect/ Preflect on and Monitor, and to Change/Improve, not just SL3 and SL4 experiences and performances, but also SL3 reflection/preflection and monitoring, all within the larger-scale Contexts of Earth, evolution, and Gaia. And in a future SL5, Self-Mastery, there emerges a third order of Metacognition, characterized by an "integrated" Self able to transcendently Reflect/Preflection on and Monitor, and to Change/Improve both SL3-SL5 experiences/performances and SL4 and SL3 metacognitlon within the Contexts of universe, the evolution thereof, as well as all life and consciousness therein. In this cybernetics-based Stages/Levels timeline, we can see the emergence and evolution of a science-based, non-dualistic spirituality, which both begins and culminates in nondual unity.
For the life with Reasonable Consciousness. Vladimir Michailovich Novikov. nii_soznaniya@mail.ru (Director of Scientific Research Institute Soznaniya "Consciousness")
Scientific searches for the explanation of the obvious facts of the real world have come to the end with opening of the Universal Relativity (UR): Information (The Spirit) is the creating essence using the quantum of energy of different density, the essence possessing the Consciousness, realizing the coded programs-projects (Souls/inlbvolutionary process, forming the uniform complete global program - conception (the God-Absolute), proving itself on physical level in the form of space-time curvature (modification of All). The break of the knowledge of the world around which has resulted in the given discoveries I have got after detection of creating by means of the energy of essence of the information, which has organization in the form of the programs.
The essence of discovery in knowledge of Human Consciousness was showed by the found out fact of manufac-turability of the process of Consciousness formation. The given process has its own laws, principles and mechanisms. Consciousness formation is carried out through the development of the programs entered into program-projects (Soul) to the condition of programs-passions, whose realization in the course of vital functions of the Human becomes the purpose, sense and his life content. It has been established that the desire to satisfy the information requirement that more strongly than the knowledge of pleasure including about what arises at disposal of suffering (absence of pleasure) is more mastered. The condition of the dissatisfaction which consists in aspiration to the mastered pleasure and disposal of suffering causes through the force of the potential difference of life impulses which, in turn, are a source of motivation of the Human, its cogitative and physical activity, so also its functioning as self-organizing, spontaneous and self-sufficient Information System. As the Consciousness formation is in direct dependence on the surrounding world, the Conditions or Existence then in technological process of the maintenance of Existence and social systems functioning in it is the defining factor influencing the Rationality both individual and public Consciousness. The given interrelation of the individual Consciousness with public Consciousness and Existence it is deeply discovered in work that has given it the great social importance thanks to appeared real possibility to cure the society from such illnesses as alcoholism, drug addiction, smoking and so on.

The Inner Ecology For The Planetary Citizenship. Vanessa OUveira. vanessa,po$@gmail.com (FTC/IMES)
This research presents rhe results that treat the Environmental Consciousness in anticipation of higher education as a promoter of construction of scientific knowledge and the preparation for the professional practice, which should make efforts towards initiation, construction and/or development of consciousness and the inner ecology of the students. It Helps to learn how to take care of the humans inner ecology, its interior space, develop self-awareness, instrument it to take care of political-social ecology in which is inserted and his rallying with the world of nature. Such research is justified because the terms nature, ecology, human development, sustainable development, among others became widespread current concepts in society, even terminate differentiated content and visions. Recalling that pollution, natural disasters, environmental degradation, hunger, and poverty are also mechanisms that conspire against life. Sought to reflect on education for human development, which assumes that humans depends on an all-round. The educational environment seems to be conducive to propagate a new ideology that can unite humans and transform the world live. To substantiate this discussion were studied Foladori (2002), Barreto (2008), Moraes (2008), Capra (1997). The research was performed in a private higher education institution that, through pedagogical strategies, develops work concerns ethical, social and environmental, bringing ecological discussions and social environment to the center of educational tariffs. It is a qualitative research with case study analysis. The selection of instruments and technical survey was based on Gonzalez Rey (2005a). The respondents acknowledged the importance of the activities of the program. In addition, the survey showed the intention of leaders to introduce innovations in the program above which should make efforts towards development of consciousness and the interior ecology for the planetary citizenship.
General Theory of Conflict Resolution: Nonduality in International Relations. Christian Palocz. cpahcz@yahoo.com (Rigpa Inversiones)
"' 'This paper is about a practical use of nonduality in International Relations. I will focus on the Chinese Tibetan problem, which I argue has a basic polarity at the root of the conflict that resembles many others happening in the world today. Conflict is a field offeree that manifests in three ways. One is the use of power to dominate or eliminate the other, which is the most common way to resolve conflict in the real-politik scheme. The second is evolution or growth and the third humor. I will focus on evolution, but I will mention humor especially concentrating on the effects of polarity and the logic behind humor. I will show a six-step procedure that will take us to a wider perspective about polarity. This six-step procedure is a matrix for resolving any conflict where we have an irresolvable dilemma, for example modern and traditional, movement and quietude. As a final conclusion I try to show that polarity manifested as conflict is an opportunity to grow, laugh and in some cases we actually need to eliminate. Conflict resolution in this case is not about eliminating conflict, but on changing our perspective about it, seeing conflict from a higher perspective where contradiction, paradox, and movement are present. My theory defies Aristotelic logic including the specific aspect of change, but also conttadiction and paradox. Tibet is a great reservoir of a tradition of self-knowledge, science of the mind and "inner experience" that needs to be preserved. The whole dilemma is how can Tibet save its cultural, religious, philosophical wisdom and at the same time China maintain its prestige and union as a nation, as well as its political, economic, and military power in Tibet.
Knowing thy Self. A Gift from the Light, Renee Pisarz. Author.rpisarz@optimum.net
I will try to explain what I truly know. The wisdom that I have been receiving, and continue to receive from a higher existence. I am a vessel, expanded and fully aware, of the present moment. I live in the now, the true state of being with all. What does this all mean? I have the sense of just knowing; through telepathy I am being guided. I have a soul link to my higher self. The part of me that is eternal and evolved. This is the gift I received after my son transitioned to the spiritual realm. I was reborn, with more knowledge and understanding of what my true purpose is. I know the faith in God sustains me. I know we do not die. Everything is energy. We are energy. I feel that energy and see it. I can manipulate the energy with the palm of my hand. This is the life force that is all around us. With my eyes open I vibrate into higher realms. I hear the humming; I see the light dancing all around me. My seventh chakra, the crown chakra opens. I feel the tingling sensation. At arms length above my head, I feel the pulsating of the energy. I receive guidance and so much love. I know that death is another level of consciousness. Like changing the channel on the radio, a different frequency. I am multi dimensional. I exist in this plane of existence, and also can see far into other realms that exist in the Universe at the same time. Because of the expansion of my awareness, there are so many synchronicities, meaningful coincidences. I have a thought and that intent manifests. I know I am here to help others heal, and provide inspiration through the grace of God. A messenger, a vessel holding the light, the spirit that has no boundaries. I am able to feel and see my sons energy, the formless. This is a blessing, a miracle that needs to be told over and over again for the highest good.
Embracing the Tension of Uniqueness and Interconnection. Dorothy Riddle. sgc@servicegrowth.com (Service-Growth Consultants Inc.)
What if the essence of nonduality is the interplay between individuals and the One Life, in which we live and move and have our being? What if we are part of a grand experiment, through the continuity of consciousness, in learning how to be uniquely ourselves and, at the same time, an integral part of the vast cosmic energy field? What if our spiritual task lies not in liberation from self but in actively leveraging self so that we can contribute new knowledge to the ongoing expansion of the consciousness of the One Life? At the soul level, we already know how to be merged with the One Life. How can we live that merger on this physical plane, as cosmic citizens, while sustaining our unique individual perspectives? We know that we manage the energy that courses through our being by creating, sustaining, and resolving points of tension. Our skill lies in the choice and focus of those points of tension. Our growing edge includes how we become consciously interdependent with the vast array of life forms within our planetary sphere and throughout our cosmos. Come explore methods for identifying how we may have internalized and played out the illusion of duality. Share ways of working with tension to demonstrate the reality of our nonduality. Take part in individual and group exercises that can help us recognize the ways in which we are each already contributing to the magnificence of the One Life and any additional steps we would each like to take in experiencing our interconnected cosmic existence.
Dynamic Balance and the Psychological Alpha Particle. Kurt Schmidt. mpe_4@hotmail.com, Co-Author: Peter Tongue
An unbalanced automobile wheel may be unnoticeable at slow speeds but becomes unmanageable at higher speeds, even destructive. As the speed of cultural information increases, without psychological balance, we may collectively be subject to a fate similar to an unbalanced wheel. Inspired by the traditional model of an alpha particle (the nucleus of the most abundant balanced element, helium) we present the simplest universal laws and principles of psychological balance in a new model called the Psychological Alpha Particle (PAP). Mathematically, our research suggests this may be useful for mapping the energy flow from duality to non-duality. We present a natural energy pattern that weaves two pairs of opposing values together to function as a whole.
We have also found the PAP map useful in real life by applying as a template when working with energy psychology tools at both individual and organizational levels. We propose that this map helps identify imbalances in unhealthy systems and through the use of energy psychology tools, can be used to shift the harmonics to align with coherent dynamic nature of healthy sustainable systems. The Psychological Alpha Particle offers a powerful key for understanding psychological balance. It demonstrates universal mutual purpose and respect between objective and subjective perspectives. It also provides a new mathematical framework for mapping successful dialogue between apparently opposing views and unleashes a revolutionary paradigm for the successful evolution of individuals and organizations.
"Radical" Non-Dualism. Dan Sleeth. daniel_sketh@adidam.org
One of the world's best kept secrets is a remarkable affinity between two of the greatest advocates of love in Western spiritual history: Jesus of Galilee and the Divine Avatar, Adi Da Samraj. Each can be said to provide a crucial aspect of the core sacrament of Christian doctrine: atonement–better said: at-one-ment. The only difference is the means by which human beings might restore their rightful relations and become one with God. Love's Debris and the Excess of God is a book that espouses an innovative, all-embracing framework within which traditional forms of Christian love pertaining to atonement–eros, agape, caritas–can be integrated with the "Radical" Love of Adi Da Samraj and nondual at-one-ment.
To rightly understand Jesus' spiritual message of love, the relationship between Jesus and Christ must be established, ultimately leading to a more daunting prospect even still: liberate Christ from the Cross, thereby freeing traditional mysticism from the Cross as well. The teachings of Jesus are far more aligned to the "Radical" Non-Dualism of Adi Da than the spiritual metaphysics St. Paul, elaborated on by a host of Christian theologians. Even the Holy Trinity is better understood as a nondual doctrine. The current state of world politics makes Love's Debris and the Excess of God especially poignant and timely, as the ardent religious beliefs coming from the Semitic people of the ancient Middle East have the world locked in a terrible, seemingly irresolvable quarrel. The view of at-one-ment in this work not only offers a viable framework for bringing together Jewish and Christian spiritual communities, but even the possibility of reconciliation with the Muslim faith. Eastern spiritual traditions, too, will welcome this approach. Love's Debris and the Excess of God suggests a striking way in which this might be done, highlighting the common ministry of Jesus and Adi Da, offering humanity an uncommon gift of spiritual atonement–a lineage of love.
From Dust to Descartes. M. E. Tson. micul@post.harvard.edu
Essay demonstrates how subjective experience, language, and consciousness can be explained in terms of abilities we share with the simplest of creatures, specifically the ability to detect, react to, and associate (DRA) various aspects of the world. With these thtee innate abilities, an organism can begin to form de facto categories (some things are food or a mate; some aren't), develop expectations, and learn. We can see such capabilities in numerous other animals, but there is no need to assume at this point that they have any self-awareness or are anything more than a contiguous collection of chemical reactions, which happen, by evolutionary 'selection', to all work in a coordinated way to further 'their' collective survival. Thoughts are not yet 'about,' or 'directed toward,' anything. Intentionality is an interpretation in the eye of an observer and without language there isn't one. Communication learning, associations of certain sounds with certain DRA experiences, is seen in several animal species. Human language is different in degree but not kind. A language is not shared words/syntax, it is shared or, rather, convergent, experiences which are associated with those words/syntax and which give them their meaning. Just as a vervet monkey learns what to do and emit when it detects an eagle as opposed to a snake, a child learns which detections (hunger, color) to associate with the sounds such as T am hungry' or T see red.' As previous linguistic associations are applied to new experiences, children are capable of uttering intelligible phrases that they may have never heard before. Subjective experience is also explained in terms of DRA and language. Consciousness~the information that an entity can process about itself and the world–is a continuum with bacteria (or chemical reactions like rust) at one end and human self-awareness at the other.
Neurosatire and NeuroAbsurdia-Consciousness Constructs. Kenneth Van Gross, M.D. vangrossmel@aol.com (Fusion Clinical Multimedia, Inc.)
Human existence in the last ten years has featured absurd events. Perhaps that is why this decade will be known as the millennial double zero period as it included such a variety of bizarre happenings that only insanity was safe. The neurologist in charge of understanding the brain in this epoch must conjure up the appropriate evidence and explanation for this brainless if not mindless period. In so doing, Neurosatire and NeuroAbsurdia were hatched under the direction of Van Gross, MD. Sometimes understood as post-rationalism, absurd thought can also be linked to the psychotic. In that psychosis is of interest to neurologists as an entity making believe it is part of neurology, it would seem appropriate to welcome post-rationalism, psychosis and the absurd under the neurological roof, while in the spirit of neurology, determine some kind of "brain circuitry" to explain all of this. As noted above, that heretofore unidentified region (sub-cortical and/or cortical) doesn't technically exist.
Many also insist The Aughts" bypassed true existence in that those years were so bereft of meaning and purpose whether recovering from impeachment madness, examining loose chads to decide presidential elections, murdering innocents to access celestial virgins, going on weadier crusades, being a birther, talking nonsense at Townhall Meetings on healthcare, or quasi-justifying an earthquake as religious retribution. People suffered great trauma from late 2000 to late 2010 but under the banner of absurdity, many believe there should be some mitigation of same nightmare since we're all out of our minds anyway. Many are now screaming We ought to have done this that or the other thing in 'The Aughts'." Others simply whisper that we are collectively aughtistic or oughtistic, if not ADD cases. Either way, as neurologists have posited, "there's brain circuitry involved". This project features selected writings by the king of the world (as far as he knows or someone like Burger King) Van Gross, MD, that point to why this neurological lunatic needs to be lined up against the wall and shot.
In summary, NeuroAbsurdia and Neurosatire reflect a Consciousness built around existential humor which is so absent in the fervor surrounding a so called scientific definition of Consciousness. Psychosis and Dreaming easily explain why "normal consciousness" is only a construct just as Sleep and Wakefulness are arbitrarily assigned values rather than biologically worthy of ranking. Indeed all such implications about consciousness undermine any rational understanding of the self-reflection entity as we cannot prove that there is no consciousness while we are psychotic or dreaming or in other altered states. Offering a value to any human endeavor, state, level of consciousness or insight is also ridiculous thus justifying the use of the absurd and the satirical to depict same meaninglessness.
What is what in mind to mind the mind? Anders Walknbeck. anders.wallenbeck@telia.com
The thesis, that neurons apply signals, has failed to give us scientific understanding as duality emerges. The antithesis, that signals apply the neurons, avoids duality. It is thinkable that the signal patterns and its routes on the neural web may be each others counterparts. This implies an extended meaning of signal, to be an entity per se, that navigates by them self through the junctions by its pattern on web roads. If so, the subject within the brain system is the signals. Thereby, the signal-route is the functionality that instantiate and activates associative signals. Consequently the physical entity of the emergence of the mind is autonomously acting electrochemical signals operating within the conscious "window" that's creating the "I". "Tunneling" signals enables global access and memory functionality doesn't need information to be stored as pattern into a physical substrate. Accordingly memory access time is zero. Memorizing or learning is a process where signals interact to build associative links that aggregate different parts of information into entireties. This admits such a system simultaneously being aware of the entirety and its parts and recognition is achieved without discrimination. Self-navigation signals allows explicit description of the closed loops that appear when neurons are considered to navigate the signals.
Self-navigating signals broaden the general description of neural signal systems by including autonomous information as autonomous electrochemical and biochemical signals. If this description is true; it is understandable how an organism is enabled to controls itself and how the brain controls and organizes itself. The option exists that e.g. a thought is achieved by signals being the actors rather than neurons. If this is true, nature has adopted simplicity as the principle hiding beyond the complex structures of the neural web as the simplicity within a huge city is beyond the complexity of its structures.
Kantian Free Harmony as a Nondual State Extensible through Creative Expression of the Aesthetic Idea. Tonietta A. Walters. atonie@theartsoffice.net (TAO-NoumenArts Research)
In Kantian Aesthetics, the concepts of'Free Harmony' of the faculties of imagination and understanding and the concept-less Aesthetic Idea are intensely deliberated points of contention. I propose that this can be resolved if Free Harmony is re-interpreted as a Nondual state. In the traditional Western paradigm that divides the world into irresolvable dichotomies, Kant is interpreted as describing a dualism of mutually exclusive worlds; that of Phenomena as the knowable objects of experience which are metaphysically constrained by space-time and Noumena as the unknowable reality outside of human understanding [which includes self and God], However, what if a reasonable interpretation of Free Harmony is encapsulated as a nondual state of quasi-cognitive interplay? In a nondual interpretation, the aesthetic experience would be described as moment [or glimpse] of lived experience where a previously fixed and phenomenologically determined manifold attempts to resolve against a perceptually or cognitively indeterminate object of experience.
Thus, the 'Aesthetic Idea' is concept-less because it is the experience of the re-categorization of the boundaries between the manifold [phenomenological understanding] of self and the unknown of an imagined noumenal self Accordingly, it is this aesthetic idea that artists, specifically fine artists, express and make extensible through revisiting the experience in creative expression. Adopting a nondual interpretation of Kantian aesdietics affords a definitive conceptual grounding for the SEER Model of creative practice which identifies a methodology for phenomenological investigation of the creative processes and aesthetic experience of an artist. This nondual aesthetic is best exemplified in the work of Anish Kapoor, which makes tangible for the viewer a co-existence of the supposed material and immaterial or the paintings of Robert Pepperell that expound on the expression and experience of visual indeterminacy.
Beyond Conception: A Dialogue on The Pivotal Role of the Dajtk Feminine in the Transformation of Consciousness facilitated. Leanne Whitney, MA. augustmoonentertainment@hotmail.com
This paradigm shift is about our ability to merge with what is unconscious; as opposed to what we think consciousness is. Intellectual and conceptual mastering happens in the mind, but mastering life happens in the body. All is one: there is only one subject, and it isn't "you" or "I". In order to open up our nondual awareness we must move beyond the intersubjective language we use to communicate between us, objects of manifest reality; and we must begin to understand the language between the non-physical and physical worlds. You alone can learn the language of your medium: You are in that container and have to know how it communicates to you as the receiver. That is how your relationship to the unified field is formed.
Consciousness is, it is an inherent property of the Godhead; meaning the ALL, both the void and everything that arises from it. To become conscious we must be fearlessly open to receive all the feelings, intuitions, instincts, and sensations. Our thoughts about these things are secondary and often prohibitive. The science of this moment lies as much in our own internal exploration as it does in the external. The cure to separation does not lie in the daylight world. It lies in the depths, in our cellular memory and primary perception. Through the purification of the ego, the threshold to reflexive consciousness, we come to perceive clearly what life is: An experience far beyond the human beings rational comprehension. This journey to non-duality isn't about spiritual bypass; it is in the acceptance and embodiment of our humanity. We must each have the courage and willingness to go to the depths of an abyss and surrender all levels of personal desire; then we come to be in this experience of life.
