Post-Conference Workshops
Feelings and Time, Scott Kiloby and Jeff Foster
How we create suffering by running away from present experience into an imagined future.
Scott Kiloby and Jeff Foster, two of the freshest and most accessible voices in modern nondualhy teachings, present a 5-hour workshop on the relationship between our embodied human experience (sensations, feelings, emotions) and time itself.
Much of our suffering originates in our unconscious attempts to escape or deny aspects of our present experience. We habitually label parts of our experience as 'bad' or 'wrong' or 'not okay', and attempt to run away from them to their conceptual opposites. In millions of different ways, we seek to be 'okay' or 'complete' at some point in the future. This search for a future wholeness creates the very experience of being 'broken' or 'incomplete' that we are trying to escape. But is a broken, incomplete self who we really are? Or is there another way of seeing things?
What do feelings and emotions look like when they are no longer being avoided? What happens when seeking is seen through, and life is confronted in all its timelessness? What does life look like beyond the story of individuality?
Real healing is possible when we take a clear, honest look at our present experience together, not with the aim of 'fixing' it or becoming 'enlightened', but with the intention of discovering what's really going on beyond our mind-created stories.
In this workshop we will have plenty of time together to share, discuss and explore the nature of our experience. Jeff and Scott will gently guide us towards an honest look at who we really are, beyond who we think we are, beyond the story of separation, seeking and time. This is an informal and friendly workshop, and there will be plenty of opportunities to ask questions, if questions arise for you. We look forward to seeing you there! The "New We", Thomas Hubl
The Evolution of New Ways of Creating Community, Society, Spirituality
Where do science, society and spirituality head to? The current shift in the world points to an evolutionary leap of consciousness. While many practices for individual have spread already, many don't know how to implement this on a collective level.
What tools can we be used to tap into a "new We" and how might otganizational and community forms look like? What do presence, transparency, compassion, contemporary mysticism mean on the next level to come? How do we live and work if we radically make Awakening the core? And what does it mean for our communities and the collective? As a foundation, Thomas Hiibl will present three pillars that are crucial to his work: The integration of unintegrated parts, the connection to the future potential of life and transcendence into timeless ever-present consciousness.
Thomas will thus show that it needs both a certain level of transparency and transcendence. Transparency is an important tool on our journey of exploration of a "new We". Especially for communities it is a marvelous chance to see how strong synergy effects can be and the evolu-tionary impulses can become alive. Exercises in Transparent Communicarion will support this first pillar, integrating unintegrated parts. We learn to explore individual as well collective fields of consciousness. Applying a mindful creation in the many areas of human potential supports the next level of cultural evolution, and the second pillar: Connecting to life's future potential.
Timeless wisdom, core of all spiritual traditions, becomes visible in all things. Transcendence means also an allowing to literally step into 'the Unknown': New spiritual dimensions and tap-ping into ever-present consciousness itself— the third pillar.
To be able to live this on everyday's market place of life, the one-day workshop includes a selection of tools of Thomas' work: Meditarion, communication, the reading and understanding of fields of consciousness, contemplation, dance, exercises in presence, training in intuition and inspiration. These are helpful on an awakening path in order to access levels of consciousness, gain insight into the functioning of collective fields, to guide others in their processes and to see from different points of view.
Thomas will draw from his experience in working with large groups, including collective healing and shadow work. This Intensive Day Workshop, with its talks, guided exercises, transparent communication practices and toning meditations, is a valuable add-on to Thomas Hubl's presentation during the conference and to the conference topic itself. It grants a glimpse into taking radical responsibility for the joint process of being and becoming - an enriching experience, if you participated in the Science and Non-duality Conference or not.
